Snövit Hedstierna (1980) is a visual artist from Sweden, based in Montreal, Canada and Berlin, Germany. She likes to interlace, reframe, display, and blow up situations in contrast to, or in conflict with restrictions of social structures and gender related issues. With her art, she aims at showing the deepest of human emotions, love and relations beyond given structures, to how the world has been presented. The artist works in multidisciplinary art forms of sound, performance, video, photography, sculpture and spatial installations.
