À propos de l’exposition
Les étudiants du cours de dessin de l’Université Concordia proposent l’exposition collective « Anthroporium », dans le but de célébrer nos réalisations académiques et de créer un espace qui explore collectivement l’identité de chaque artiste. L’objectif est d’interpeller le spectateur avec un large éventail de thèmes allant des héros tatoués de Suikoden à l’exploration des processus corporels et à la célébration des traces éphémères. L’exposition vise à présenter 9 étudiants, choisis pour leurs techniques allant de l’encre et la peinture sur soie à la sculpture et l’installation suspendue.
L’humanité, la forme, la présence, la culture et la conscience constituent la base de notre exploration scientifique, et nous sommes donc fiers de présenter notre travail sous l’égide d’Anthroporium !

About the exhibition
Concordia University’s Drawing 400 students are proposing the “Anthroporium” group exhibition, with the goal of celebrating our academic achievements,and generating a space which collectively explores each artists’ identity. The hope is to engage the viewer with a wide array of themes ranging from: the tattooed heroes of the Suikoden, to the exploration of bodily processes and the celebration of ephemeral traces. The show aims to present 9 students, chosen for their mediums from ink, and silk painting to sculpture and hanging installation.

Humanity, form, presence, culture, and consciousness mark the basis of our research exploration, and so we are proud to present our work under the overhead of Anthroporium!
